The crew numbered 1-15, and the passengerk 170, of whom 90 were women and children. Thoro wasalieavy swell, but the boats wcro lowered within ten minutes or the explosion. The captain remained ou deck till the liner sank, and was picked up later, Tho womon wcro as calm as if they were going to meals, and sang in tho boats.
