MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
LABOUR'S NOMINEES. Nominations of candidates for tho forthcoming local body elections have been received by the Labour Representation Committee as follow:—City Council: Messrs. H. E. Holland, J Glovor, W. AViles, J. M'Kenzio, ,T Bead, J. Hutchison, E. Kennedy, C. Chapman, and Dr.. Wallace Mackenzie. Hospital and Charitable Aid BoardMesdanies Aitken, Medina, Snow, Hazelwood, Beck, Misses Cook, M'Donald, Messrs. T. A. Eaglo, J. Read, W. Mnddison, and Dr. Wallace Mackenzie. Harbour Board: Mr. A. H. Hindmarsh. As more candidates than aro required (eight) have been nominated for tho City Council, a selection ballot will be taken on February 10.
