YOUR HELP WANTED,
To help win the war is the grand purpose that still inspires young' New Zealanders to risk life and limb. Anil the duty of those who sjay at homo is to see that our soldier boys while defending our homes and fighting for our freedom on the blood-sodden fields n<id in the freezing trenches of France. Wherever the pain and misery of way is endured, the splendid .work of that grand organisation the I?ed Cross is known and appreciated. But nowhere has the magnificent work of that self-sacrificing society been more highly , appreciated than by the fanners of Taihape, who have generously given 1(100 sheep to bo disposed of by art union to raise funds for the good work. Every shilling ticket in this art union has 3-t chances in the 3-t prizes offered, and purchasers niav rest assured that tho art union will be economically managed -on thoroughly sound lines. Business peonle who will assist by selling tickets are requested to write to the secretary, Bed Cross Art Union, Taihape.
