SAILORS FRIEND SOCIETY

Ihcre was a large attendance at Mr. A. Bond's concert at the Sailors' I'nentl Society. .Every item on theprogramme was thoroughly appreciated and won rounds of applause. Mr. Moore, missioner, delivered a short temperance address. The following contributed to the excellent programme :—Mesdames Lewis, Haniier ■Dodus, and Stewart, Miss Mavis Kiiig Captain Macfarlane, and Messrs. Boyd Cole, and Hoole. Miss Dodds presided at the piano. An efficient instrumental party from: a Home trader rendered several items during the evening. The party-comprised Messrs. Seloy, Brown, Moore, and Lewis.
