Representatives of practically every settlement on tho Waimea Plains attended. It was resolved: "That this meeting of people of the Waimea Plains wiro the Government that the callingup of farmers and those engaged in attendant industries bo stayed until the organisation Cabinet promised is working sufficiently well to maintain the farms in their present productive conditions."
