.ENTRIES C3LOSE .ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31. Intending competitors at the- Danncvirke A. and P. Show, to be, held on February U and 15, are again asked ■ i?r s oie * ne f ac * that entries: close on Wednesday next, with tho secretary, ,Mr._ F. C. Stubbs, Ward Street, Dan.nevirke. This year's fixture; is already • an assured success so far as representation in tho various sections is concerned, entries having come to hand j freely. Stock owners sliould make themselves conversant with the valuable challenge trophies offered in all tho stock sections, while cheese and butter factory managers should boar in mind tho classes included this year -for export butter and clicese, a foaturo which it is hoped will be well supported,, as liberal prizes hare been offered. In tho dog section there are challenge classes for bearded collies and Irish water spaniels, while a first-day feature is the sheep dog trial, also an innovation to tho Dannovirke Show. Then .tho class for best collection of grass : heads, open to school children, is another .which should bo productive of ■widespread competition. Tho Show ■promises to be an unqualified success. .To gain a goal one's _. every " effort should aim directly at it. Having thin in view, we have concentrated all our efforts in but one direction, to manuifacture 'prime first-grade butter from home-separated cream. The vital thinjj in any business to-day is to keep in one direction, and make a success of it. We .claim to look after i our suppliers' interests in all details', and our returns for this season have proved our success.
