A concert that met the popular taste was given to the seamen by Miss Bolton at tho Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday evening. Mr. Woore, miseioner, tlnmked recent donors of books, and ' asked for further Rifts to meet the groat demand. The short 6lory competition was a great success, adding much to the brightness of the evening. Tlio performers wore the Misses Clarke (2), tannine, Brown. Boltoiv, Sutlierliinl, Jacobson, and Messrs. M'Farlnne, Bradley, «ind W. Nelson. The accompanists were the Misses Brown (2) and Clarke. '
