SALE OF EASTBOURNE PROPERTY. Messrs. Harconrfc and Co., yesterday afternoon, conducted a sale of Eastbourne properties, at which there was a large attendance. Tlie auctioneer commenced the sale by offering Sections 111 112, and 113 in Cameron Street, with the seven-roomed residence thereon, known as St. Alban's Vicarage, "but the property was passed in, and is now for sale at the upset price of .-£IOOO. Tlie next lot offered was No. 118, with a frontage to Cameron Street of 33 feet, and was sold to Mr. C. T.e Suer for £%. Other sections sold were No. 117, Cameron Street, to Mrs. C. Eeditt for £85, nnd Sections 115 and 11G, Cameron Street to Mr. C. A. TPillis for .6175. Section 105, with a fonr-rSoined cottage thereon, nnd Sections 106, 110, and 114, were next offered, but were passed in, nnd are now for private sale at the upset prices of JE3SO for tlie cottage, and £!lft for each section. The next lots offered were five sections, with frontages to the County Ttond, opposite St. Alban's Church, but ns the reserves were not reached they aro now in tho auctioneers' hands for private sale at tho upset prices from £4 to £& 10?. ner foot frontage.
Tho Eev. J. I. Wedgwood (late general secretary British Section of the Theosonliical Society) will lecture on "The Eecpnciliation of Science of Religion" at the Theosophical Hall to-mor-row ovening.
