LEGISLATION PROMISED. London, January 25. Lord Rhondda said he realised the burning nature of the question, which he regarded as one of the most urgent. Legislation would probably be introduced at an early opportunity giving effect to the recommendations of the Royal Commission. It was essential that publicity should he given to the grave dangers of the scourge, and that free and secret treatment should be provided.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
