FORECAST AND SUMMARY Present indications are tor moderate to strong easterly winds nortlnvard of New Plymouth and Napier, and variablo breezes, with south-easterlies predominating elsewhere. Expect changcablo weather, with showors in parts, moro cspccially in the northern and East Coast districts of the North Island. Barometer unsteady. The barometer rose in the south during Wednesday night, and the wind changed to moderate to strong southerly generally, but only scattered rainfall has been reported.
