THE TOLL FOR NINETY DAYS
London, January. 24. Tho following submarine sinkings aro reported:—British steamer, Tremcadow (8562 tons); Danish steamer, Klampenborg (1755 tons); Norwegian steamer, Reinmiga (1147 tons). ? The "Daily News" calculates that in the ninety days to January 23, 470 vessels were sunk by submarines, including 187 British. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. DITCH STEAMER SUNK (Rec. January 25, 5.25 p.m.) London, January 24. The Dutch steamer Salland (3675 tons) has been submarined. Tho crew was saved.—Aus.-N.Z: Cable Assu. TRAWLERS SUNK (Rce. Januarv '25+ 10.55 p.m.) London, January 25. • The Dutch steamer Zeta (3053 tons), tho British steamer Neuquen (3563 tons), and sexsral.trawlers have been sunk.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. NORWEGIAN LOSSES (Rcc. January 10.55 p.m.) 1 London, January 25. Thirty-three Norwegian vessels, worth two millions sterling, have been sunk since 1016—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
