SOLWAY SHOW
The thirtieth annual show of the /Masterton' A. and P. Association is to /be held 'on the Solway showgrounds on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 20 and 21. The association is specially catering for breeders of stock, and this year an increase in prizo money lias been made. In addition, valuable cups and other trophies have been allotted to various classes.- In tho Romney Marth sheep section breeders are' being particularly well catered for. There will be the W. B. Allen silver cup, for the most, points in the lloniney Marsh • classes; the Perry silver salver (valued at 20 guineas), for the best. Romney ram under '21 months; ihe Brancepeth cup (valued at 25 guineas), for the best pen of four Romney rams under 21 months;. and the Johnston rose bowl, for the best Romney ram lamb. Entries for the show will' close on Monday, February 5, at 9 p.m., ivith the secretary (Mr. J. B. Emmett, Masterton), late entries being received up to and including Saturday, February 10. The annual ram and ewe fair will be held on Thurssday and Friday, February 22 and 23. Entries telose with tho auctioneers on Mondiy, February 5, and no-late entries will be accepted. Tho demand for tho famous Victor Cheese Vats still continues, and orders are being executed in rotation. Mr. Factory Manager, you should certainly get details of the Victor sloping bottom, middle drainage Vat—the Victor meanß bigger output and larger dividends. Write or call. A. J.
