OBITUARY
MBS. BILLINGTON. London, January 23. The death is announced of the actress, Mrs. Adeline Billington. [Mre. Billington was born, on January 4, 1825, and made her first _ appearance on the London stage in 1857. With her late husband, John Billington, she was associated with the Adelphi Theatre for some sixteen years. She played in Shakespearean dxama, modern drama, and in melodrama at Drury Lane. Jn her latter years she was regarded as the Mother of the Stage.]
