On Thursday our weekly stook sale was held at Palmerston North. Rather more than the usual amount of stock came forward, most of which was sold. At Feildiug, on Friday, ire had a good entry of both sheep and cattle. A couple of trucks of fat bullocks, sold on account of Mr. 0. P. Johnston, brought £20 10s. Aged fat cows brought £10 10s. to £11 2s. 6d.; store oows. £4 12s. 6d., £5 155., to £6 10s.; eighteen-month heifers, £5; fifteenmonth coloured steers, £6 ss. to £6 16s. 6d.; small bulls, £4 ss. to £6 12s. 6d.; weaners, £3 4s. to £4 Is.; small ditto, £2 Is. to £2 10s.; shorn fat ewes, 295. 6d. to 30s.
