WOMEN'S WAR-TIME WORK
TRIBUTE FROM MUNITION'S MINISTER. (Rcc. January 23, 6.15 p.m.)' London, January 22. Dr. Addison, Minister of Munition:;, speaking at the Mansion House, said ■women had done a splendid part in the war. Half a million were engaged in munitions production, and the numbers were increasing at the rate of thirty-four thousand monthly. He paid a warn tributo to the work of the Young Women's Christian Association, and said we could not orer-appreoiata the women's war-time _ work and their readiness to risk their lives.—Aus.N.Z.
