At the inquest on the body of Peter Cornwall, a witness, stated that he saw deceased jump off thewharf. Other evidence showed that ho was" suffering from cancer of the tongue, and had been given a month to live. Ho left a letter saying that dying too slow, and ho thought to bring it on a little quicker. . ' SUICIDE IN'CHRISTCHURCH. Christchurch, January 22.
