EMBEZZLEMENT IN PARIS
'A. "FINANCIER ARRESTED. (Rec. January 22, 5.5 p.m.) v Paris, January 21. The financier Phillippe Simoni has nnpn arrested for tlio embezzlement of funds of an industrial company. The shortage amounts to three million francs. The chairman of the company, I'rince de Broglierevel, has also been arrested. Ho declares lie is the victim of Simoni's machinations.—"The Times."
