Mails for "United Kingdom, America, and all oversea countries, except Austrar lia, will ho dispatched from timo to time by best route without special notification. On Monday, January 21 (Anniversary .Day), the letter-carriors will make ono delivery only in the city and suburbs, for which correspondence must bo posted at the Chief Post Office by 7 a.m. The street receivers will bo cleared as usual. Mails lor Cromarty, Puysegur Point, To Oneroa. also West Coast Sounds and' Bays, close at Bluff on Tuesday,. January 23, at 6 p.m. ' Correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship. Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains, with the oxcoption of tho usual ferry steamers for southern offices, close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised times of closing of moils. Tho parcel-post mail per Main Trunk express closes at the 0.P.0. at 11.30 a.m., and for the south per ferry steamer at 6.45 p.m. Late letters for mails beyond the Dominion cannot in future be posted on tho steamer, but must bo posted in the lateletter posting-box at the Chief Post Office up to the appointed timo shown on the mail notice. All tho principal mails by train and steamer close at To Aro and Courtenay Place. Post Offices at the same hours as at the Chief Post Office, with the exception that there is no late-fee clearance, and that mails by the ferry steamors for southom offices close at -5.45 p.m. Mails for Auckland and Auckland district, per second Main Trunk express, closo at Courtenay Place at 5.45 p.m., and To Aro at 8 ■p.m. ■ k i A.
