IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
POSTPONED UNTIL MARCH: (Ree. January 19, 7.5 p.m.) London, January 18. Mr. Massey states that any. permanent consultative body arising out of the Imperial Conference would lie distinct from the High Commissioner's functions, because the Dominion Parliaments would desire direct responsibility.
Mr. Massey lias consented to the postponement of the conference to tlie middle of March, at the request of Canada and South Africa.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
