ACCIDENT TO A TROOP TRAIN
TWO CARS TELESCOPED Paris, January 18. A collision occurred between the front and rear portions of a British troop train owing to the coupling breaking. The carriages were crowded with men on furlough. Two cars were telescoped. Ten men vera killed and thirty wounded.—Reuter. LATEST CASUALTIES (Bee. January 19, 5.50 p.m.) Paris, January 18. Tho latest casualties in the troop train collision are ten killed and forty injured. Tho search of tho debris continues. • The train was topping a hill when the coupling broke.
