A SHEER ACT OF DEFIANCE
London, January 18. The "Daily Telegraph's" correspondent at Home states that in accordance with the Entente's ultimatum the Greek Government has removed General Callaris, military _ commander at Athens, but the appointment of General Yanakitsas as his succcssor is a sheer act of defiance. General Yanakitsas, when War Minister in the Skouloudis Cabinet, negotiated tiro surrender of Tort llupel to tlio Germans, and since has been one of the prime movers in anti-Entento intrigues.
