TISZA MUST DIE
' ATTEMPT TO SHOOT HUNGARY'S PREMIER '
1 Amsterdam, January 18. Two attempts liavo been made to assassinate Count Tisza (Primo Minister of Hungary) since the new year. There aro indications that the attempts are further efforts of the Opposition to removo the man responsible for Hungary's ruin.
The first attempt was made on a bridge in front of Parliament House in Budapest. Two students fired revolvers at tlie Premier, but missed. One of the students escaped, but tlio other was hanged within . tlio twenty-four hours. .
: A few days later two sliots were fired from a crowd when Count Tisza was leaving Parliament. ' One made a hole in Count Tisza's top hat. The crowd protected the assassin, and the police were helpless.
' A number of secret socioties in Hungary have passed a resolution that Count Tisza must die.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable 'Assm
