WILLIAM DE MORGAN, NOVELIST. London, January 17. Obituary—William Frend de Morgan, novelist.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.. [William Frend de Morgan was born in 1839. He adopted art as a , profession, chiefly in stained glass work. In 1870 ho turned his attention to oeramio work, when his experiments in_ lustre* at that time not much known in England, attracted some attention amongst artists. In 1905 he commenced as a writer of fiction, and his. publications include "Joseph Vance: An Iltwritten Autobiography," "Alice-for-Shorti A Diohronism," "Somehow Good," "It Never Can Happen Again," "An Affair of Dishonour," "A Likely ■ Story," and ".When Ghost Meets Ghost/']
