RESUMPTION IMMINENT London, January 16. Tho "Times" states:—"Theresumption of the offensive on tho main fronts is imminent. The Germans attacked at Verdun too soon last year, hut that risk will be run on every main front in 1917, because the belligerents cannot wait. All are feeling the increasingly severe strain. —"The Times."
