HAURAKI REEFS. LTD. Tho mine manager reports: Sinking tho winze below No. 3 has been the principal work in hand during the past week, and good progress was made. Due to the reef having come down , more vertically than : expected , , we did not consider it advisable to break -the auartz in case wo should weaken the wall and give ourselves extra winding. Stoping over the No. 3 level on tho Golconda reef was in hand, but no quartz was broken.
