HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. Two items of special merit are included iu the bill presented at His Majesty's Theatre this week—Master It. Newberry, tho boy soprano, and a bright duo, consisting of Elsa Brull and Arthur Holmsley, who put on a very successful humorous sketch.- Master Newberry'6 item is a most attractive one. Hβ is a product of Auckland, and has just returned from a successful Australian tour. A farewell season is being given by Mankin, the "human frog." The -usual matinee at 2.30 takes place to-day. THE ICING'S THEATRE. ' Tho programme at the King's Theatre this week is drawing large houses. Tho leading film, "Mauhiittan Maduess," gives Douglas Fairbanks and Jewell Carmen plenty of scope in which to create good, honest laughter. The other picture is the fairy story of "Cinderella," with Mary Pickford in the iiame-part. Tho daily matinees for children are proving very popular. There will be another this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. Sir Herbert Tree, the famous English actor, ugure3 in the leading role at Everybody's Thentre this week, in the "Old Folks at Home." Sir Herbert's art is delightful. The story concerns a modern young man and his oldfashioned parents in the country., who save him from the consequences ot the murden of a man for thrashing a woman who has entangled him. THE EMPRESS THEATRE. Exceptionally large audiences are attending the Empress Theatre at all sessions to soe "The Common Law," .by R. W Chambers. Miss Clara Kimball Yo'un" takes the part of Valerio West, and invests the character with much emotion. The theatre opens daily at 10.30 a.m.
