HIGHLY SATISFACTORY. . Melbourne, January 16. Mr. W. M. Hughes, the- Federal Prime Minister, has announced that the first wool appraisement is on. a highly satisfactory basis. - The clean cost was tabled.,to London, and critically examined fey English experts, -who' endorsed the appraisement as technically correct in all particulars. The Imperial Government lias adopted the suggestion that paymont be made with-i iii fourteen days after the appraise-' ment has been accepted. The Commonwealth retains 10 ; per cent, of thei money for adjustments.—Press Assn.,
