[The Milwaukee (finished in September, 1004) is an armoured cruiser of tho first class, -with a displacement of 9700 tons and a complement of 5(>4 men. Her length is 424 ft. (water-line); beam, Hsft.; and maximum draught, 23} ft. She is armed with fourteen 6ineh guns, eighteen 3-inch, and four 3poundcrs.] , JAPANESE BATTLESHIP SUNK Vokosuka, January 14. Tho battleship Tsukuba was sunk by an explosion. There were 300 casualties. [The Tsukuba (finished in December, 1905) had a normal displacement of 13,750 tons, and with a full lead 15,150 tons. Her complement vtas 817 men. Her length (water-lino) was 440 ft., beam 75ft.,'. mean draught 26ft.
