HANGING BACK

t Sir, —Will you kindly give me a small , portion of your paper to draw notice that while men liave teen to tlie front and have returned, yet a lot have hung . back. I know of one family of five ! sons—two aro single, two havo married ; since the outbreak of tho war, and one has only one child. Yet none of these have enlisted, or have'they been drawn in the ballot. Talk about shirkers, I think this family of fine, healthy men is one of the biggest shirker families in Now Zealand. They are people with plenty of money. Why should not , these go and do their little bit?—l am, j etc., F.R.B.S. ■
