Yesterday was a beautifully fresh summer's day, with a cooling- breeze from the south. Moderate to strong easterly winds are now predicted for northward of New Plymouth and northerlies elsewhere. Warm and hazy conditions are ■to be expected, with - skies clouding over, and a. change following generally. The barometer has a falling tendencr.
