The Premiers' Conference has agreed' to a repatriation scheme under which! tho States will take charge of the set- , tlement of soldiers and cover advances !" of local loans, nnder Federal control. A new financial agreement has been reached reducing tho loans raised im Britain and increasing local loans. : It is understood -{hat Mr. W. M. Hughes, tho Federal Premier, hae_ ■ granted the States provision up' to £5,300,000 and advanced £2,000,000 for the repatriation of soldiers. —Press i- Association.
