Strong enemy positions havo been captured north-west of tho important junction of Mitaii,, from wh'ich the Russians are only twelve miles distant. Sincp July 5 the Russians have captured 21 pieces of heavy artillery and eleven field guns. The position on the Rumanian front is said to bo improving. It is again reported that • Greece has submitted to tho Entente demands, but a Reuter correspondent states' that the enemy is massing reinforcements on the Macedonian front as if contemplating an offensive. According to a Paris message, tho Entente reply to President 'Wilson's Peace Note has been forwarded, and contains more definite indications than have yet been given of the terms on which the Allies are prepared to open negotiations for peace. ■
