♦ • A CANTERBURY RESOLUTION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, January 10. The Canterbury Industrial Association has decided to scud thrco delegates to tho conference at Auckland next month. The following motion was carried: — "That the Industrial Corporation of Now Zealand, being the executive of | the industrial organisations of Wei- : lington, Auckland, and Christchurch, hereby gives official recognition, and support to the now industrial movement known as tho New Zealand Board of Industries, and that tho Auckland and Wellington Associations be urged to establish"a branch of this board for-, tho consideration of this most important question, nnd that immediate steps ■bo taken for post-war industrial conditions." Tho following remit was adopted:— '.'That the Industrial Association of each province take immediate steps to got a full meeting of members of Parliament for tho purpose of discussing the industrial developments of thoDoniinion, and that a. special committee bo elected to put into proper form the various resolutions mado on tins subject, and that the rewssary representation be mado to tho Government that the country demands a more vigorous industrial policy."
