NEXT THEATRE OF WAR Washington, January 8. __ A Washington official, in close touch with the Bntißh Legation, says that Palestine may be the next important theatre of war. The British Suez army is preparing to drive through to Palestine to join tho Russians from tho Caucasus. The British are now further east of Suez than ever before. Tho Russians have been reinforced, and tho Tigris army is pushing up the valley. —Router.
