MARLBOROUGH TOUBNAMENT. Tho annual tournament of tho Marlborough Lawn Tennis Association, held at Blenheim, resulted in tho following wins in tho finals:—
Men's Championship Singles—Soniifinal: L. Franco heat Mayo, B. Griffiths heat Anderson by delimit. Final L. Franco beat B. Griffiths. 6-1, 3-6, 9-7.
Men's Championship Doubles.—Semifinals: Alleott and O'Connor boat L. and D. Franco, B. and B. Griffiths, beat Toinisend and Mayo. Final: E. and B. Griffiths beat Allcott and O'Connor.
Ladies' Championship Singles.—Final: Miss Jenkins beat Miss Anderson, 6—3, G-l.
Ladies' Championship Doubles.—Final: Miss'Jcnkitis and Mrs. Hulmo beat Miss Anderson and Miss Williams.
Combined Championship DoublesFinal: Towisond and Miss Jenkins beat L. Griffiths and Miss Greenfield, 0-6, 6-3, G-l.
Men's Handicap Singles.—Semi-final: L. Griffiths (scr.) beat L. France (owe 8), Mayo (scr.) beat Toirnsond (scr.). Final: L. Griffiths (scr.) beat Mayo (scr.), 59-30.
Men's . Handicap Doubles.—Final: Edwards and Fuller (25) beat Widen and Logan (10), 53-51. Ladies' Handicap Singles.—Final: Miss V. Gregory (15) beat Mrs. Hulnie (scr.), 40—13.
Ladies' Handicap Doubles.—Final: Misses Frasor and Pigon (15) beat Mrs. Htilmo and Miss Jenkins (oive 15), 50-40. Combined Handicap Doubles.—Semifinal: O'Connor and Miss Williams beat Wiffon and Miss Williams, 50—21; Toivnsend and Miss Jenkins beat D. Franco and Miss Mason, G5-G3. Final: O'Connor and Miss Williams beat ToTvnsend and Miss Jenkins, 65—38.
