SWISS NEUTRALITY
TO BE RESPECTED BY FRANCE Berne, January 7: Following the example of France, Germany has undertaken always to re- - spect Swiss neutrality.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. London, January 7. The "Observer" points out that' Prance has opportunely renewed her pledge to respect the neutrality of Switzerland. This declaration is designed to meet beforehand any subterfuge for the German violation of Swiss neutrality, such as wa3 devised after the events for the violation of Belgium. . ■ LOAN FOR SWITZERLAND RAISING £4,000,000 IN FRANCE PariSi January 7. Switzerland is negotiating a loan of one hundred million francs (about £4,000,000, of which thirty millions (£1,200,000) will be devoted to the conversion of the previous loan.—"The Times."
