A. new Australian basso (Mr. Richard M'Cleilaiid) made his first appearance at the two Philharmonic concerts at the Tott-ii. Hall on Sydney on Christmas Day, subsequently singing for the Highland Society on New Year's Day. Mr. M'Clellaud has sung at the Queen's Hall, London, also at the Colliseuni, the Sunday League concerts, and in most of the English provinces. The London "Daily Telegraph" the basso has "a remarkably fine voice," which the "Refereo" states he uses to excellent purpose.
