SEAMEN'S MILITARY APPEALS
vALL -TO BE HEARD HERE. An interesting statement regarding the military • appeals by seamen was made to the Military Service Board yesterday by Mr. W. T. Young, secretary of the? .Seamen's Union. Mr. Young said: "I received intimation yesterday fr,om the military' : authorities' that the appeals of seamen-'now will be" all taken by the Wellington Board. The Chairman: Wherever they may come from? ' ' , , T Mr. Young: Yes, and they have requested me to send in "a list of the men I wish to appeal for. *' The Chairman: I 'aril glad they'will be in such capable'hands. Mr. M'Laren: Yes, that is very- satisfactory.
