RECORD OUTWARDS FOR AN HOUR. Something of a record must havo been established in vessels which were leaving tho port within an hour last evening. From 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., nine vossels departed from the port. They wore the Painui (9957 tons), Kia Ora (6540 tons), Port Hocking (6225 tons), Moeraki (4392 Ions), Monowai (3433 tons). Paloona (2774 tons), KaTori (1863 tons), Nikau (248 tons), ind a liner of 10,758 tons. Total tonuago, 16,210. This is just about half of the re:ord total tonnage in Wellington for one lay, and probably ■ constitutes a record 'or the port.
