IN order to give effect to the intended Requisitioning of all Sheepskins (other than thps'e derived from sheep slaughtered. at "Meat Export Slaughterhouses), and the scouring of low-grade wools purchased on behalf of the Imperial Government, it is desired that all persons now _ operating fellmongering and wool-scouring works, who are desirous of fellmongering skins and sconring wool for the Government make application for tho registration of their premises on or before 15th January, 1917. The application must be accompanied by a statement showing tho following .particulars:— (1) The location of the premises and the name of the owner or ownors. (2) Whether the person or persons at present operating the \works 'are the actual owners or the lessees. ' (3) The capacity of the works and the nature of the plant. (4i) The date on which all privatelyowned wool, skins, and pelt will be completely removed from the premises and their immediate surroundings. A fee of .£5 ss. must be enclosed with the application. If the premises are approved arid registered tins fee will retained, as the registration fee. If not approved and • not registered the amount.will be returned to the applicant.
