COLONIAL INSTITUTE'S SCHEME. London, January 2. The Royal Colonial Institute is receiving satisfactory replies to a circular inviting the Dominion Governments and Chambers of Commerce to endorse a policy of obligatory purchase of Imperial goods and preferential British contracts where' possible. Twentyeicht Governments and twenty-one Chambers of Commerce and Boards ot Trade endorse the proposals.—Aus.N.Z. Cablo Assn.
