A'quiet war wedding took plaoo nn Thursday morning, -by special license, at tho residence of tho Rev, AV. Hodge, Napier, the contracting parties being Trooper L. G. Bullivant, of the 24th Mounted Riflo Brigade, and Miss Louise E. Nicholson, of Shakespeare Road. The brido was attended by Miss Dorothy Bullivant. Mr. W. 10. Bullivant, brother of tho bridegroom, acted as best man. _ The newly-mar-ried couple left for Gisborno, where the honeymoon will be spent. The farce '.'Fair and Warmer," by Av.ery Hopwood, is to he,tlio Williamson attraction at the Criterion Theatre, Sydney, next week. This farce was a big success in New York. The run of "Common Olay" at Sydney Criterion, in which the famous dramatic star, Florenco Rockwell, played the leading part, is to bo followed by the production of "The Land of Promise." This drama of the Canadian prairie was played in Melbourne with Madge Fabian in the'ehief female role. An advertisement appeal's in our columns concorins a diamond brooch, lost at Packakariki. The finder will be rewarded on application to the "Dominion" office.
