DROWNING ACCIDENT
ON FITZROY BEACH. By Telegraph—Press Association. New Plymouth, December 20. A drowning accident occurred on the afternoon of Christmas Day on Fitzroy Beach. Thomas Salter was bathing with a companion, when ho was carried out to sea by the strong undortow. The body was recovered this morning. Deceased was 46 years of age, and was married. He was an old and respected resident of New Plymouth.
