HOLIDAY FIGURES. Figures arc not yet available respecting tho Christmas tram traffic in' Wellington, but .it is known that in the last several days the loading has been very heavy. It is probable that Saturday's tram traffio was a record. The trains both in and out of the ! city carriod large numbers of peoplo. The Department reports that the traf-. fic was quite up to the usual for this seasou. On the Main Trunk line traffic was heavier than in other yeajs.
