THE PRICE OF WHEAT
NO REPORT YET.
The Minister of Commerce staled yesterday tliafc the Board of Trade would' not now bo able' to submit its report on the wheat and flour proposals discussed at the recent conference in Christchurch until early in the New Year. They had advanced a further stage with their inquiry, having been in touch with millers and bakers, but they were not yet prepared to suggest a price for wheat. This, of course, is tho most important item on which they will have to report.
