FRENCH AVIATOR KILLED. .-•■ : ■ Paris, December 19. Captain Aviator De Beauchamps was killed in an aerial duel at Douaumont. Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. TCaptain De Beauchamps is the officer who, on September 23, with another French, aviator, dropped bombs on Essen (the Krupp ironworks town), and returned safely after a flight of 300 miles. On November 18 Captain De Beaucbamns.performed another notable feat. Throwing bombs on the Munich Station as a reprisal for the recent bombardment of the open town of Amiens, he travelled 700 kilometres (about 438 miles'), crossing the Alps, and landed near Venice.]
