PRESIDENT OF NAVY LEAGUE. y London, December 18. Obituary: Robeft Yerburgh, president of the Navy. League.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [A private cable message received by Mr. 0. W. Palmer confirms this message. Mr. Yoitagh -was ■ M.P. for Chester. For many year 6ho held'the Edition of president-' of the Navy eagne in England. His name is familiar on the diplomas of membership of tlie league; he has contributed several hundred pounds per annum to the funds i of the league for some fouiv teen years past.' At the tune_ of th» outbreak of wa; he was visiting the Continent, and 1 was interned for a time, but was afterwards allowed io remain in Switzerland on parole. After suffering in his health he was permitted to return to England. The death ,of Mr. Yerburgh will lo severely felfc by the Navy League, both from a personal as well as a financial point of 1 vicw-1
