A concert was given by_ Mr. P._N. Clarke at tlio Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday. The humour of Messrs. Abel Roue, Levien, and Allen was very much' enjoyed. .Tho recitals of Miss Colley were encored with warmth. The instrumental items of Miss R. Dodds and Mr. Walker were rendered with much feeling and taste. Tho vocal items of. Miss M'Callum and Messrs. Poek, J. Carr, Palmer, Churcher, .Desford, Cleghorn arid Lord wore a treat to men who £pend so much tinve away from the shore. Tho sleight of hand tricks of Mr. Allen were extremely mystifying to jrfio. men.
