Robert aud Co., Palinerston North, military outfitters, embroiderers, ■and manufacturers of all requisites aiv jpertaining to • tho military ,ind navcil men, aro making a special offer to officers, n.c.o.s and men now in camp, or those who are about to join the colours, of a large assortment of requisites, neces|ary to make the smart soldier. This firm claim the distinction of being the only one in this special business in the Dominion, and their establishment dales kv' So it will be observed that soldiers can icadily place an order with the fullest confidence. Since the outbreak of war Messrs. P. Robert and Co._ have had a very busy time, and to better cope with, the increased business larger premises were secured in Main btreet, Palmerston '-North, near the Post Office. ,The , showroom and, front shop .contain a largo stock of everything in the military and naval line; also beauti-fully-worked regalia for Masonic orders 1 friendly societies, and religious bodies. Ihe firm also have a varied stock of wigs, beards, and fancy dresses for hire. In the largo factory, at tho rear of the shop, where 50 hands are employed,, there is installed 'all the latest machinery for the manufacture of military badges, buttons, etc., besides tlio more elaborate details of the embroiderer's art. All work is carried but under tho personal supervision of the principal of ihe firm, Mr. P. Robert.
