Perverted originality was ascribed to Muriel Watson, a smartly-dressed woman, who, at Reigate, was charged with having broken into the residence of Mr. N. F. Thompson, and stolen a number of articles, including a sealskin jacket. She was arrested as she was about to leave the residence, on a bicycle. Pinned to the wall in one of the rooms was a sheet of' notepaper, upon which was written"Please will you have these bars removed from the window for the next visit?
